Hi,
I have a bit of a complicated background. But want to know if it would be possible for me to get an LLM in Corporate Law.
I'm an American but didn't get a bachelors degree in the US, I went to a University in Germany and graduated with the equivalent of a Masters in Economics. During my studies in Germany I took part in an exchange program to the US and got an MBA in the US.
So I currently hold the German Masters in Economics, and the American MBA. I now have about 1 year of working experience working as a Commerical Manager and would like to better my chances (andexperience) by getting an LLM in Corporate Law since I often work with contracts and other business related legal issues.
My question is should and could I get an LLM, if so where since most LLM Programs require a legal degree. I have also been considering a JD but since I'm not planning to practice I believe a LLM would be better.
Does any one know if its possible for me to get a LLM? Would it be better to go for a JD?
Thanks for your answers!
