I have recently completed my law education and I am currently considering applying for a Fulbright Scholarship for the 2022/2023 academic year. The universities that are the main focus of my interest are Harvard and Columbia. Maybe NYU is also an option, but less preferred.

What worries me, however, is that the total tuition fee at Harvard and Columbia is about $ 100,000. An amount that is not affordable for me. I understand that Fulbright covers up to about 30-40 thousand dollars. Does anyone have any idea what amount of scholarship I could possibly expect from the universities themselves? As far as I understand, both universities grant quite small scholarships (about 10 thousand dollars) for Europeans (like me). Is this true?

What are the alternative forms of financing? A loan is not an option for me. Also, my employer would certainly not invest in my continuing education (there is no such practice). In such circumstances, is it worth applying for the scholarship at all?

Thank you for your help!
