Congratulations everyone! May I ask offer holders: when did you apply? I applied in the middle of November and have not heard since then :/

I applied towards the end of October and had a Skype interview with the Dean in early December during which I got my offer.

I applied in mid-December and had the interview last week.

I applied on December 11, 2018, and was sent an email on December 28 requesting an interview. Have you checked your application status to see if there's any missing materials to be sent to the law school (https://law.duke.edu/internat/graduatedegrees/)? If your application is complete, I would wait a few more days before sending the International Admissions Office an email. Best of luck!

I applied on December 11, 2018, and was sent an email on December 28 requesting an interview. Hey there PeHu95, same here. Pretty excited, though I've applied to other schools I think Duke is still for now the best option (academic-cost wise). I graduated from law school almost two years ago (University of Buenos Aires, Argentina), and have been practising law since then. Once we all confirm our admissions decisions we should definitely make a group chat of some sorts!

When I had my interview with Dean Maher we just chatted about my academic plans, life in Duke, whether I wanted to sit for the NY Bar, etc. Nothing technical, just a friendly conversation.

When I had my interview with Dean Maher we just chatted about my academic plans, life in Duke, whether I wanted to sit for the NY Bar, etc. Nothing technical, just a friendly conversation.

Hoped your interview went well! Did you apply via normal cycle? I applied mine via normal cycle (just right before the deadline) and my current status changed to "Application is under review" and was wondering if this meant that I will be hearing from them soon?

Hi, my interview went fine, it was a 20 minute long interaction with Dean Maher. She asked about what courses I'd like to take at Duke, my background and future plans. At the end of the call, she said I was admitted to the LLM program. I received a confirmation email a couple of hours, thereafter. My application was under review for about two weeks before I received the mail requesting an interview.

Hi everyone, I just received by admission offer from Duke! I first got offered an interview with Assistant Dean Jean Maher. It was a very pleasant process, with her genuinely wanting to know what your interests are and how you wish to pursue them in Duke and was also very helpful with regards telling me about courses available and how I may structure my studies. I was accepted during the interview and the email regarding the same reached me about 5 hours later. Hope this helps! Congratulations to all who got their acceptances! Good luck!

Hi, I got an interview invitation this morning. All the replies above relieve me that the interview will rather be a casual talk with Assistant Dean Maher. I got an 'application receipt' email on Jan 22 (because I applied near deadline) and am delighted to have the result quite early. Thank you all for the information above, and I hope to have a final acceptance after a pleasant interview during next week.
