Do you know maybe if pets are allowed in students houses?

My communication was the following:

"We will send you soon the welcome guide with further information and instructions, especially on the accommodation.

Please note that the MIDS have an agreement with the résidence Picciotto and the RUI and Carlton and we do have some rooms secured there for us. So please, do not contact the Picciotto Student House or the RUI/Carlton, as you will receive a registration sheet from us. However, there will not be enough rooms for all our students, so you can already apply to the cité universitaire (residence) if you wish as they do take applications in order of receipt."

Naah I meant what is the criteria for allocation (by the committee). How will the committee decide who gets the 22 places out of the 40 students (I am guessing all MIDS students will apply (?))

I will also apply for room, but will search for shared apartment in parallel. Let me know please if anyone else is looking for shared apartment.

As to the criteria, I don't know how the committee will decide whom to choose. They were silent on this in the email.

Yea I had applied the very next day anyway.
I was curious because the Edgar Hall (of the grad institute) has a proper housing application, and they take into account a few things while deciding who gets the room.
Either way, they will help us in finding rooms. And yes @Vit, if we dont get the rooms, let's find some decent accommodation to share.

I have applied but have been put on the waiting list.

Quite a relief!

I got a room at the RUI.

They said in the welcome guide they'll create one eventually.
I guess we should create one soon ourselves(?)
