I received an email last night confirming my selection of modules. I notice that it was sent to just six students.

I wonder if the earlier concerns in this thread about a small class size were correct? Of course it could just be that only six people have so far indicated their intentions (although the notional deadline was two days ago) but if there are only six I'm concerned.

I replied to the email seeking confirmation of class size, and will post the answer here.

Yes. I noticed that too. I was worried by looking at the class size. But I think we all expected this, even if more students come. I think it's unlikely that the number will cross 15.

I heard that all the other classes like School of International education also usually have around 15-18 students every year

I received a reply, to the effect that this is not the number of students, this is the number who have so far registered their chosen courses.

It will be interesting to see what the final number is!

Are you all aware of the requirement to attend orientation?

http://www.sciencespo.fr/ecole-de-droit/en/content/welcome-program

I have emailed the responsable for a more detailed description. Personally, I would rather just attend the last day, September 1st, so as to be able to spend more time moving into digs and so on.

Guys, is it possible you are referring to Françoise Borrie's e-mail about Peter Rosher's Dispute Resolution course?

Yes, why do you ask?

Because, this simply means that 6 people opted for this course. Given that we're supposed to be 20-25 in total, a class of 6 people for this elective course sounds reasonable.

How are you all going with accommodation in Paris?

I'll be in Paris Wednesday 26 July until Friday, looking at apartments. If anyone is there at that time, would you care to catch up for a coffee/beer?

Thanks. Normally my wife would be with me as we searched together, but she's tied up on a project in Africa, and won't have a chance to see anything until we make the move. I get the train to Paris tonight, and have appointments from tomorrow. Also calling in on the SciencesPo.
