Is it possible to work during the LL.M.?

Hello all,
Does anyone know if it is possible to have a part-time job (at a restaurant for example) in Geneva during the LL.M. program at the IHEID? I know scholarships are limited and the cost of living is very high there so I was wondering if anyone would have information about that. Thanks!

Hello Thais,
Generally speaking I would say yes you can work whilst studying. When you apply for a scholarship at the Graduate Institute the application form requires you to provide all details of your financial income including any employment or finacial aid.
Nevertheless, this will also depend on your circumstances. Requirements of each scholarship are different. Some may specifically state that you are not supposed to work. Additionally, your visa, if you have one, may restrict you from work.
