Hi everyone! I am a Colombian lawyer, interested in politics, international relations, political theory, corporate law, criminal law, human rights, legal philosophy, russian literature, salsa, latin jazz and house music... what a mix, right?

I have worked as assistant professor in my university in the courses of Criminal Law and Political Theory. I have also worked in the ICHR of the OAS, in Colombia`s Constitutional Court, in the firms Lombana Villalba & Abogados, Brigard & Urrutia, -which are top law firms in my country-, and in a modernization project of 32 pilot courts of the judiciary of Guatemala, which was sponsored by the United Nations and the World Bank, last year.

I applied recently to the LLM programs of Harvard, Yale, Columbia, NYU and Georgetown.

Up to the moment I have been admitted to Columbia and Georgetown. I am still waiting to see what happens with the other universities I applied to.

I hope to meet many of you in New York, New Haven or Boston next year. Bye!!!
