If you don't have any specific programme in mind, Aberdeen should be the choice.

As one of the oldest universities in the UK, Aberdeen is, in the eye of a foreigner like me, far more prestigious than Dundee. Though it is best known for its Oil and Gas Programme, I feel Aberdeen actually has a rather well-rounded strength with numerous specialist programmes for prospective students to choose from: it has a far greater variety of programmes than Dundee and many other UK universities.

Again, apart from this general assessment, you may have to take many other factors, academic or otherwise, into consideration, before you make a final decision.

I agree that i should choose aberdeen due to its strong reputation along with many other things.

At aberdeen, i wish to write my thesis on maritime boundary delimitation or joint development. do you think it is a right choice? however, some people suggested me to go to Dundee rather than Aberdeen due to Prof. Robin Churchill teaching there.
