National University of Singapore - LL.M & PhD Applications for 2010 Now Open
Dear friends, Thu Oct 01, 2009 05:12 AM The NUS Law School - Asia's Global Law School - is pleased to announce the opening of applications for our LLM and PhD programmes (for admission in July/August 2010). The deadline for applications is 1st December 2009 for the regular programmes and 1st January 2010 for the LLM (International Business Law) programme in Singapore and Shanghai. The following programmes are available: RESEARCH - LLM and PhD COURSEWORK - with or without concentrations in: Corporate and Financial Services Law Intellectual Property and Technology Law International and Comparative Law Asian Legal Studies Maritime Law International Business Law. The specialised LLM in International Business Law is taught in both Singapore and Shanghai (admission in July 2010), while the other programmes are offered entirely in Singapore (admission in August 2010). For the NYU@NUS dual degree programme, please check the separate application process at www.nyunus.org. We welcome queries to lawgradadm@nus.edu.sg. First, be sure to visit our website at law.nus.edu.sg/prospective/postgraduate.htm and click on the grey information links on the left of that page. You will find the application forms there, as well as other relevant information such as tuition fees, scholarships and accommodation options. The application forms, in particular, will detail all the documents/materials that are required. We can grant a waiver of TOEFL/IELTS requirements if you have studied law entirely in English, and can submit a document from your school to attest to that fact. We currently have a great class comprising students from 34 countries, and are committed to maintaining our high level of student diversity and quality. i am thinking of pursuing my llm from NUS this year,but before considering so i wud like some feed back from everyone about the prospect of studying there...mostly career wise.plz help me.

I request anyone who has suitable information, to let us applicants for 2010 know, if there are any scholarships for LLM (Coursework degrees and/or International Business Law), apart from the ones mentioned in the application forms.
