LLM Program in European and International Business Law Wien
I`m interested in studying in Wienna and I have recently found this llm program that is tought in English.Mon Jun 22, 2009 12:49 PM I know that this program existed before, but it was on Deutsch. Could somebody with the experience tell me something about this program and generally about studying in Wien? + how hard is to get accepted? |

Hi, I am currently on the LLM course. I would say that in general, the compulsory modules are hard (ie easy to pass but not so easy to get a really good grade) - but that the electives are a lot easier. The electives are really varied and diverse and it is really up to you what direction you want to focus on in the course. Most people seem pretty pleased with the course so far and the social life is good too which is always a bonus!!

Hey, think it is about 18(ish! as some are part-time).... lectures vary, can have nothing for a week or so, then a whole day of 9-5! Really depends on the electives you choose!!

Thank You, You've been very helpful!!!Mon Feb 22, 2010 01:17 PM I really like the courses of this program and the city too! The thing that still bothers me is, how recognised and appreciated this LL.M. program is, since it's brand new? But, University of Vienna is of very high quality, so I guess this program must be of good quality too. Greetings and good luck with the course! |

Hi, it is only the English language version of this programme that is brand new, the German version had been running for many years and has a fantastic reputation, so I really don't think recognition of the LLM will be a problem! Good luck!!
