Hi folks,

I got offers from both.

SOAS= LL.M. in Banking Law

IALS= LL.M. in International Corporate Governance, Financial Regulation, and Economic Law

I don't know which one to select. I need your advice and please also provide reasons.

Thanks a lot

I also have an offer from SOAS for the LLM in Dispute and conflict resolution!

I hear it is a great school and being part of the University of London it should offer you a top legal education

Depends really on your interest and modules that you want to study!

Thanks Wheretogo,

How about the school or the program itself?

Anyone would like to share additional info?

I'd chose SOAS over IALS. SOAS has a good reputation (strangely undervalued compared to LSE, KCL, UCL and QM), and has a lovely campus area. IALS's is very small, and mostly known for its library (which every LLM student in London becomes acquainted with) rather than its academic programmes.

I think SOAS might be better! At least they are more organized than say QM.!!

SOAS has substantial overview of emerging markets which is a huge bonus and you can also take courses at Queen Mary!
