Hi,

Just got my decision in an email today. Came in a secured PDF that I had to download by logging in. Got accepted and also got $35,000 scholarship. Anyone else hear anything?

I submitted my application in October, and it was complete with the recommendations and ready to process some time in November. I have no idea how the schools examine applicants or decide when to notify people...

Hi,

I'm from the US. I went to law school in Los Angeles. I'm not sure which program you should do . . . obviously NYU@NUS is cheaper for you. But I think which one you do would depend on what kind of degree you want, and where you want to live. I'd like to practice in Asia, so NYU@NUS is ideal for me...

Congratulations trooks and brightest!

Could you guys please inform us when did you complete your application?

I'm one of the people who completed their application near or on the deadline. Just wondering whether the early applicants get their decisions first.

Oh, a bit on your qualifications would be most helpful too. Perhaps it could shed some light on what NYU is looking for this time around.

Thanks and congratulations once again!

yea! I think $7,000 vs. $42,000 makes the decision a bit clearer...

I am wondering for this program, can we take Mandarin language class(es) as part of the degree? Or would it have to be separate...

Good day to all!

I was also offered admission to NYU@NUS. No mention of any scholarship though. Brightest, what made you say that the US $35,000 scholarship at NYU@NUS is being offered to everyone? Wishful thinking here.

i think there are many "Deans' Award" scholarships available, but not enough for all people who are accepted. The class size may also be bigger this year than last?

Brightest and Trooks,

Thanks for your reply. I did not apply for NYU at NYC since I intend to practice in the asia pacific region. I am still weighing my options for NYU@NUS considering the lack of scholarship. Will be shopping around for alternative sources of funding in the mean time. Hopefully I find one by the 23rd.

Thanks a lot. I'm from Colombia and will definitey accept NYU's offer (in fact I did not apply to any other Law School this year). Hopefully we can all stay in touch through this forum.

@sniper, hope you the best of luck in finding a good source of funding, hopefully we'll be able to meet in May.

In my case, it is quite the reverse. I already received the UPC pack but have not yet been notified by e-mail. LOL

i think you should write to NYU stating that you have received the packet and not the email......b'coz ur case is pretty unusual........
