LLM in Fribourg Switzerland, anyone?
Hi!Fri Sep 12, 2008 08:58 AM I've studied at the Fribourg Law school (master of law). It is the best law school in Switzerland, not because it is bilingual (French German you can take all classes in both languages!) but also because it is very multicultural and open minded.Teaching staff is excellent, the facilites are good too. They will always take care that you have understood the material and will take time to answer all your questions, even by email late at night (I was really impressed by this) The quality of life in Fribourg is also excellent ! Depends on what your looking for. Fribourg is a "student city", you can find a bit of everything : from good restaurant to nice clubs (we should study, not party ;). It's also a cute little city near the swiss Alps. You should come and visit the old town, you would never want to leave! I can only recommand studying in Fribourg, I am personnally interested in the new LLM program. Alex [Edited by milana on 12 Sep 2008] |

The bilingualism sounds GREAT! But what about jobbing? Does anyone know anything about internships or job opportunities once graduated from Freiburg?

On their website I've search for their HR partner and it's the best legal recruitement/headhunter specialist in Switzerland. I reckon they will provide great opportunities for jobs and internships, especially since they have a partnership with the Fribourg program and no other program in Switzerland . They also have internships in top law firms in London, Shanghai and Washington (it says on their website).
