Annual Scholarship Opportunities Available to LSE LL.M. Students

A number of awards for incoming students with specific geographic backgrounds

Like every year, the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) Law Department is once again offering a number of scholarship opportunities available to incoming students to the 2009-2010 LL.M. program.

Marchant Foundation Scholarship - a 10,000 GBP scholarship, with preference given to students from India, the European Union, or the United Kingdom in financial need.

Margaret Bennett Scholarship for North African Women - a 5,000 GBP scholarship for female LL.M. students from North Africa.

Laura Cha (Shi Mei Lun) Scholarship - 2 scholarships of 12,000 GBP each to residents of China.

Olive Stone Memorial Scholarship - a scholarship fund awarded to qualified female LL.M. student(s) who are 25 years old or over.

Successful scholarship applicants will have already been accepted into an LL.M. program at the LSE, and will considered based on the information they provided in online application materials. Selection for all of the above scholarship awards will take place in May.

    I am graduate of Khartoum University in faculty of law; I know that the conflict that going on in Sudan is for the reason of human rights abuse so as individual responsibility in solving such problem, I am working as volunteer to Sudanese center of human rights, but i would like do my master degree in human rights so as to develop my self human rights firstly, and then come back to home to enhance human rights situation by telling people their rights and defense for.

    hello,I hail from one of the south asian countries Nepal and have just finished my A levels. I aim to get a professional degree in Law from Britain as the modus operandi of teaching there has always fascinated me .The state of anarchy prevalent in Nepal induced me to consider Law as a subject which will help me understand Law in a better way...
