Two Major LL.M. Job Fairs Set for January 2009 in NYC
Over 100 employers expected to interview LL.M. candidates at both eventsDec 19, 2008
These events are open to foreign lawyers currently enrolled in full-time LL.M. programs at participating law schools. ISIP 2009 will be held January 23-24, and this year's event at Columbia University will be held on January 22-23.
The NYU ISIP brings together over 1,100 foreign-trained law students from 32 law schools with over 120 employers with jobs and internships. Students will have had submitted registration materials and resumes well in advance, and employers select the students they wish to interview.
The Columbia event is co-sponsored with six other law schools (Yale, Harvard, Stanford, Chicago, Michigan and Virginia). It also consists of a pre-screened interview process where employers select LL.M. candidates to interview prior to the fair.
More information about the NYU ISIP - including a list of the 32 sponsoring law schools - can be found here. More information about the Columbia Overseas-Trained can be found here.
