Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, California has announced it will be introducing the first three-year joint J.D./ Tax LL.M. degree beginning in the autumn 2009.  Students can therefore get both degrees in the time it typically takes to get a J.D. degree.

Students will be able to do this by taking intensive summer session after the first academic year and 12 additional tax units during the second and third year of the program.
